MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

We Invite You to Join Us

Membership in the Williamstown Garden Club is open to all those who share a strong interest in gardening and are willing to participate in the Club’s civic projects; the planting and maintaining of local sites during the growing season, and contributing plants and baked goods to our annual Plant Sales. Equally important is attending monthly program meetings, serving on committees, and generally offering assistance as needed. Involvement helps create a vibrant and inclusive membership.

The Club meets each month April through December on a Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Program topic, date, and location are announced in advance and are posted here on our website. Monthly program topics focus on all areas of horticulture as well as ways to contribute to the beautification of our town. These educational programs and meetings include highly regarded speakers who offer lectures, slide presentations, as well as workshops, demonstrations, garden tours, and field trips.

WGC Civic Beautification Projects:

The Club designs, plants, and maintains the following local sites:

• Gardens at Field Park
• Sally Tenney Osborne Garden at Milne Public Library
• Flower boxes on the Main Street Bridge
• Containers at Five Corners & Bloedel Park in South Williamstown
• Containers on Spring Street, Town Hall and at numerous intersections

WGC Fundraisers:

Proceeds fund our civic beautification projects:

• Spring Plant & Bake Sale and Fall Houseplant Sale

New members are welcome throughout the year.

Prospective members are invited to attend a meeting before joining to get a better understanding of the Club, its activities, and to get acquainted with current members. Send us a message through Contact Us so we will know to expect you.
